UnitedHealthcare - Changes to New Plan Grid
UnitedHealthcare made changes to a few of the plans on the new plan grid released recently. Some of the HSA plans have been removed due to an oversight that resulted in being outside of IRS regulations.
If you sold one of the plans affected, please explain to your client that these plans were outside of IRS guidelines.
Changes are as follows:
4LD & 4L4 ($5k 100%) Plans
- Individual in-network out of pocket max has been lowered to $5,800
- Family in-network out of pocket max has been lowered to $11,600
- There are no rate changes necessary
4LF & 4LK ($5k 80%) Plans
- Removed from portfolio and are no longer available to sell
