Aetna - Two New Small Group Plans Announced
Beginning July 8, 2009 two new small group plans will be available for quoting. These changes come ahead of Aetna’s planned product portfolio refresh scheduled for November 2009.
The two new plans, OAMC 2500 80% value and OAMC 5000 80% were developed around the concept of reducing premium by increasing member cost sharing on certain services. One important feature will be the “split coinsurance” on the in-network side specific to facility vs. professional charges.
These new plans will also offer the “e.visits” service that is new to the small business portfolio.
